  A gorgeous museum to an incredible part of world history. Certainly a must see when in Tashkent!! We were lucky enough to receive special attention and touring from one of the delightful staff managers, THANK YOU!

  Grand museum, with a number of artefacts. However there's no real order to the exhibitions and some are a bit random. Also, a number of the more impressive artefacts are replicas with the originals being in other museums (primarily in London). Didn't really learn much more about Timur which was what I was looking for.

  We've been here before making a trip to Samarkand where Amir Temur started his empire. So we had a great base before seeing all the places in Samarkand in person which are connected to Amir Temur and his empire. There's always a "tourist fee" you have to pay on top, but over all it's really worth it and not expensive.

  I visited this place a year ago. Its Its kept very nicely & should been seen by all visitors. The guide was also very knowledgeable. Overall an excellent experience.
