  Laying from my bed I watch the dome of the Gur Emir, the rooms are cozy, with old carpets, and furniture. Great breakfast, outstanding host. Prime location. Every time I am in Samarkand I stay here. For me this place is magic. If you look for luxury or hotel standards go somewhere else: you woul be disappointed.

  Good location and nice/helpful host. Dinner is expensive (11$) but good quality (also nice restaurants in Samarkand all need a taxi ride). The room is kind of outdated and has this Soviet feel.

  Dinner was nice but really overpriced compared to other local restaurants. It is priced for its reputation as $11 per person was far too much for a couple of salads, soup and a couple of manti. No drinks nor dessert offered.

  The atmosphere is nice and the owners are very helpful and welcoming. The reason for giving it one star is that the room I stayed in was infested with bed bugs. I woke up in the middle of the night with about twenty bites some even on my face which are itchy as hell. They need to clean up their act, pun intended.

  Feeling at home in Samarkand At Antica B&B i felt like at home. The structure is fantastic and authentic with a very good position close to Gur-Amir, that gives a lot of flavor. A inner garden, original painted ceilings, big rooms, tasty handmade jams and tea... But the most you get from the staff. Extremely gentle, the owner (she speaks several languages!!) helped me a lot with precious informations and advises. They also organize a tasty dinner and other excursions around the city. Genuine smiles and warmth are a standard way to deal with guests that let me fell like at home!! Extremely extremely recommended, for sure my only choice next time in Samarkand!
