  Yet again we arrived with car trouble looking for a place to stay. They were booked at this hostel which was a serious bummer because I REALLY like it here! Our friends were here so we hung out with them in the inner garden and it was so much cooler and so lovely! Melon and tea was served which was wonderful after hot diving. I wish we could have stayed another night and gotten rooms here instead of up the street, but it's ok. I ended up crashing a wedding with some French girls and not really sleeping anyway. I know that sounds made up, but you never know what's going to happen in Uzbekistan.

  Bahodir is a great place to stay in Samarkand. High walls and a lovely inner garden, shaded with a big tree, make the outside heat almost irrelevant. You can spend days in the garden, just resting (good for a cyclist!), and it's a place to go for touring cyclists, you will surely find some fellow people on their bikes, and to share insights about the road back and forth. The owners are kind and helpful, the rooms simple and cheap, definitely better than overpriced "official" hotels. They are legal, so you will be able to get the obligatory registration stamp from Bahodir too. It's definitely a good place, and very close to the main attractions of Samarkand either.

  This hostel is amazing. The staff are very and the location is ideal for getting around Samarkand. As well as this the hostel itself is great with complimentary watermelon on arrival.

  中央アジア　サマルカンドならここ！というくらい居心地のいい宿。 ドミトリー（個室あり）、共用トイレは古くて臭う 等の部分はあるにせよ、オーナー親子のホスピタリティが凄い。 困ったことがあったら何でも相談にのってくれるし、宿泊料金も安いのに くつろいでいるとお茶や、お茶歌詞を出してくれるし。 夕飯も1ドルとかそこらでしたが、しっかり出してくれます。
