  The amazing Sovitsky collection. An extraordinary view of avant guard art, and as a bonus, a look at the history of Karakalpakstan as shown by a singular collection of artifacts dating from the Bronze Age to the XX Century. Absolutely a must see! ☺

  Worth a visit if you are in the area (2-3 hour ride from Khiva). They just opened a 2nd building. Only a small portion of art works is on display at any time so half day should be enough.
