Servicio bastante malo.

Don’t go there for taxi reservations. We went from Khiva to Bukhara - and we went there for taxi reservation. ( well we had had an offer from the private taxi driver outside the west gate - 40 dollars directly from Khiva to Bukhara, non-stop, only for us two persons. But we didn’t take that offer, and we were now really regret) In this tourist center, their offer was 16 dollars (which is 130,000 som) per person. And the taxi would go at first to Urgench to collect more guests. And we paid 5,000 som in advance. On the next day, at the time of departure, the info-center said the Benzin price has risen and we had to pay extra 2,000 som per person for the Benzin. So in total we paid nearly 20 dollars/150,000som per person. We accepted it because we wanted to depart and arrive on time. But the taxi driver drove to urgench and we waited there for more than one and a half hours. It was so annoying. It turned out to be that the info center took more commissions out of the taxi fee, and the taxi driver was unsatisfied with that, and we customers had to pay more! Fxxking Info-Center. Shame on Khiva! So just go anywhere else for tourist information! Or if you book anything from them, keep the note. In case of any arguing about the price again, just go to the tourist police in the old city. The policemen all speak well english!

no good for train ticket reservations: it asks 15000 soms per single ticket, just for reservation commissions. Go instead to the tour agent 20 m on the right side of the Orient Star Khiva Madrassah hotel entrance: it asks 5000 soms for train ticket reservations. DON'T PAY ANY ADDITIONAL "TAX" if they will ask you for it: it will be just a sort of "additional bribe": you will have to pay them only the 5000 soms commission, and that's it. Check the agreeded price on the ticket they will give to you.
